Wednesday 23 January 2008
London, Jan.23 (ANI): England Premier League Champions Manchester United has teamed up with an Indian firm to make the six games for popular handsets, including puzzles and those based on ball skills.
The partnership, due to be unveiled today, will see each game cost around three pounds, The Sun reported.
The first in the series, due out in April, will be Manchester United Word It!, a brain-buster where players must identify words and phrases associated with the megabucks club.
"I think it's a fantastic venture. For our fans all over the world, it's an opportunity to get involved," said the team's manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Salil Bhargava of Jump Games said: "Our games will reflect the excitement and interest globally in the team, the club and its players, wherever people want to play them.
"Fans from Manchester to Mumbai will be able to feel a part of the club from testing their knowledge to playing the team on the virtual pitch." (ANI)
